The Maritime Group (International) has launched an Asia office in Singapore.

The London-based maritime consultancy said it has opened The Maritime Groupe (Asia) in the city-state's Shenton House in Shentonway as a subsidiary of TMG (Europe), also in London.

The two companies have already worked together on reviewing tugboat operations on the Panama Canal Authority’s new neo-panamax locks, TMG said.

The Singapore bureau is led by K. Srinivas Patnaik as managing director.

“Our commitment to first class service matches that of our counterparts in the TMG group, and we aim to play a major role in the next phase of the group’s growth,” he said.
