Ocean Network Express (ONE)’s new chartering operation will be ready to go from the outset, but longer-term newbuilding investments will take time to be evaluated, says chief executive Jeremy Nixon.
The Singapore-based operation — which will combine the container chartering operations of NYK Line, MOL and K Line — will enter the charter market for short-term fixtures under the ONE brand on launch in April, he confirms.
