300Cubits, the digital currency start-up, says it has completed the first container shipment in its smart contract deployed on the Ethereum blockchain.
The Hong Kong company, which has described the technology as “bitcoin for shipping” said the shipment consisted of two FEU going from Malaysia to Brazil
Participants in the trial included an unnamed liner company, Malaysia’s West Port and, LPR, a Brazilian textile importer, which ships several thousand TEU a year.
