MSC is upgrading its Australia to Europe service through a vessel-sharing agreement with CMA CGM.
The deal starts in September and will see the companies operating a joint service via the Indian Ocean.
It will use 14 vessels of 9,500 teu each.
Of these, nine are being provided by MSC.
Port rotation is London Gateway – Rotterdam − Hamburg − Antwerp − Le Havre – Fos-sur-mer − La Spezia – Genoa − Gioia Tauro − Pointe des Galets – Port Louis – Sydney – Melbourne – Adelaide – Fremantle − Singapore – Colombo – Valencia − Sines and London Gateway.
