The Queensland state government has given its backing to a pipeline that will connect future gas supply in the Callide Infrastructure Corridor to LNG Limited’s Fisherman’s Landing LNG project.



Pipeline Licence 161 will allow LNG Limited to move ahead with the infrastructure, which will be initially capable of supplying 520 terajoules per day to the 3 million tonnes per annum project in the Port of Gladstone.



The
