Would-be cargo suppliers to Argentina are circling an LNG carrier that could achieve an eye-watering rate if re-let.



The 138,106-cbm Excel (built 2003), which is currently on charter to Morgan Stanley, is one of the few potentially available vessels that is compatible with the GNL Escobar terminal.



Rumours were sweeping the market this week that the ship had been fixed at $185,000 per day.
