Lorentzen & Stemoco is in a spin after a bid to buy brokers’ shares.
Lorentzen & Stemoco (L&S), one of Norway’s leading shipbrokers, is in turmoil with two board members who are also shareholders pulling out of the company and a number of brokers quitting.
There is speculation that the upheaval is the result of a power struggle between the Tidemand and Lorentzen families that together own a majority of the shares.
