Iran is considering building another major oil export terminal that would shorten tanker voyages as its crude returns to world markets.

State press reports that the head of Iran’s trade and economic development ministry is proposing the construction of a new export terminal at the port of Jask along the Oman Sea.

“Jask is being considered as the region that wants to be Iran’s second crude oil export terminal,” said Akbar Torkan, as quoted by state press.
