Nicholas Gleeson in sudden exit from BW Group

BW Group is on the hunt for a new chief financial officer following the sudden departure of Nicholas Gleeson.

The Singapore-based shipowner confirmed in a statement Tuesday that he had resigned from the company on Friday.

BW Group gave few details as to the reason for Gleeson’s departure from the company other than the usual platitudes.

“Nick was instrumental in the successful listing of BW LPG Limited on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2013, and helped shaped the first formative years of the company thereafter.
