Norwegian shipowner Yara International is developing an ammonia-fuelled gas carrier with Japanese giant NYK Line.
The pair are teaming up with Nihon Shipyard and class society ClassNK to launch a study into a new vessel design.
Yara has a fleet of 11 ammonia carriers and is a large producer and trader of the gas.
