Teekay LNG Partners is due to take redelivery of several of its LNG carriers from their charter contracts in the first half of 2022, but the shipowner is optimistic that the strength seen in the market this year will hold into next year.
Teekay Gas Group president and chief executive Mark Kremin said the last six months have seen counter-seasonally strong spot and period charter markets for LNG carriers.
