Seafarers working for South Korean liner company HMM plan to conduct a mass resignation tomorrow, effectively the first labour strike since it was founded in 1976.
According to local news agencies, around 92% of 424 unionised sailors in HMM voted in favour of the action yesterday.
The crew members are staging the strike after wage negotiations with the company came to a standstill.
