Two passengers have been seriously injured when a German-managed ropax grounded on rocks in Ibiza.

The accident involving the 992-gt San Gwann (built 2001) happened on Saturday evening off Ibiza, the Spanish Coast Guard said in a statement.

At least 25 people were injured. Two, including a 10-year-old boy, suffered serious injury and were airlifted by helicopter to hospital. The rest were evacuated by boat.
