Oslo-listed Havila Shipping has offloaded a laid-up platform supply vessel at the behest of one of its banks.
The 4,900-dwt Havila Crusader (built 2010) has gone to an overseas owner who will use the ship outside the offshore industry, the company said.
Havila added that the disposal was completed at the requirement of the vessel's lender as part of the terms of the shipowner's debt restructuring agreement sealed in 2020.
