An ultra-large container ship operated by Danish liner giant AP Moller-Maersk has grounded near the port of Bremerhaven, Germany.

The Danish flag 20,000-teu Mumbai Maersk (built 2018) was reported aground on Wednesday evening by Germany's Central Command for Maritime Emergencies (CCME).

According to the CCME, the giant ship grounded at the mouth of the River Weser as it was heading for the German port of Bremerhaven from the Netherlands.
