Rystad Energy believes shipowners are holding back from ordering costly wind-farm ships as they fear growing turbine sizes could leave them outdated.

As the huge offshore structures become every larger, power companies face a headache regarding installation, the consultancy said.

“Demand will outpace the supply of capable vessels by 2024,” Rystad’s research shows.
