Flexport has raised $935m to improve its technology platform focused on global logistics and supply chain capabilities.

The US-based digital freight forwarder announced on Tuesday that it has received funding from investors that include American venture capital firms Andreessen Horowitz and MSD Partners. Canadian e-commerce company Shopify also participated in the round.

Flexport’s existing partners DST Global, Founders Fund, SoftBank Vision Fund and other investors including Kevin Kwok will contribute to the investment, bringing its post-money valuation to more than $8bn.
