A chemical tanker reported sold by Stallionaire Shipping of Lagos in December has turned up at Alang as the company takes delivery of a tanker Denmark’s Torm sold in March.

The Nigerian shipowner’s 37,000-dwt chemical/product tanker Adebomi 3 (built 2002) was on Tuesday anchored off the Indian shipbreaking centre under the name Debo, where it is awaiting beaching.

The IHS Ships Register, which lists the Debo as “broken up” revealed that the ship was sold via Cypriot intermediary company Northsea Shipping.
