Globus Maritime will have at least three brand-new bulkers in its fleet by the end of 2024 after ordering two more newbuildings.

The Athens-based owner of nine bulkers said it has placed an order for two 64,000-dwt, fuel-efficient bulkers from Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering in China for about $70.3m total.

The first ship is scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter of 2024, while the second one is expected for delivery in the fourth quarter of the same year.
