Houston-based regasification specialist Excelerate Energy has pencilled in a deal with Bulgarian energy company Overgas to supply regasified LNG from the US company’s planned Vlora LNG terminal in Albania and its associated pipeline.
Excelerate said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on 14 July under which it will enter into a negotiation for Overgas to buy up to 1bn cbm of regasified LNG annually for 10 years.
