Union Maritime reveals big expansion in tankers and bulkers

Serial sale-and-purchase player Union Maritime has built its fleet to 69 vessels through a series of transactions over the last two years.

Accounts filed at Companies House in the UK show the tanker fleet grew from 44 to 45 ships in 2021, with 15 bulkers acquired that year at a “low entry point” in the market, bringing the dry fleet to 18 vessels.
