Japanese shipowner Mitsui OSK Lines has trialled the use of bio-fuel supplied by ExxonMobil and bunkered onto an LNG carrier chartered to the US energy major.
MOL said 1,500-tonnes of biofuel was supplied by ExxonMobil Marine to the 171,800-cbm LNG carrier Papua (built 2015) in the Port of Singapore.
