A Russian-owned Iran-flag tanker has unloaded its crude cargo in Syria seven months after being detained in Greece.

The seizure of TransMorFlot’s 115,400-dwt Lana (built 2003) in April led to the tit-for-tat arrests of two Greek tankers by Iran in May.

Now US advocacy group United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) says the former Pegas has discharged 700,000 barrels of crude in Banias.
