United Arab Emirates and Indian tanker operators have significantly increased their share of the Russian crude oil trade since the European Union banned seaborne imports, new figures show.

Tankers controlled by companies in the UAE, China, India and Russia have carried more than 60% of Russian oil since 5 December, more than double its previous share before the EU embargo, according to S&P Global Commodity Insights.
