New York research company McQuilling Services is predicting a generally bullish tanker market out to 2025, but there are variations within vessel sizes.

The company has used “advanced quantitative modelling” to produce a five-year spot and time charter equivalent (TCE) forecast for eight vessel classes across 24 trades.

McQuilling’s prevailing view for crude tanker markets continues to favour an improving earnings environment over 2024 and 2025.
