Pankaj Khanna is taking over as chief executive of Ocean Rig as part of a wider management reshuffle at the restructured company.
Khanna, who returned to work with George Economou late last year, will be stationed alongside another executive from the Greek tycoon’s group.
Iraklis Sbarounis, a one-time banker at BNP Paribas, will step in as chief financial officer.
