Energy major Shell's first inland-water LNG bunker vessel LNG London has undertaken its first operations supplying bunkers to two Containerships vessels in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
The 3,000-cbm LNG London, which is owned by LNG Shipping – a cooperation between Victrol and Sogestran, bunkered the 1,400-teu newbuilding Containerships Polar and Containerships Nord (built 2018).
The new bunker unit is on long-term charter to Shell and will primarily be used by the major in the ports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp.
