Dutch contractor and shipowner Boskalis has won a deal to build a new export terminal for Iraq.
Iraq’s government said on Monday it had authorised the oil ministry to sign an initial agreement for the offshore facility, Reuters reported.
It will be built on a newly created island, which will add 6m barrels per day (bpd) of storage capacity, and 3m bpd to export capacity.
