Shipowners could start paying higher fuel prices, depending on how long the Abqaiq oil refinery in Saudi Arabia is out of commission, potentially complicating matters ahead of IMO 2020.

According to a note from Shipping Strategy's Mark Williams, if oil prices stay high thanks to the attack Saturday that choked off 5.7 million barrels per day of oil production, bunker prices will rise along with it.
