South Korea’s Hyundai Steel is to join Posco and BHP Billiton in seeking to reduce its carbon footprint by employing LNG-fuelled bulkers to transport its iron ore cargoes.

According to sources with knowledge of the move, Hyundai Steel is to be the end user of two LNG-fuelled capesizes that compatriot H-Line Shipping ordered at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries three months ago.
