Two China Cosco Shipping subsidiaries sanctioned by the US over allegedly importing Iranian crude oil have backed away from three problematic ships.

Cosco Shipping Tanker (Dalian) Seaman & Ship Management — one of six companies accused of doing business with the Islamic republic in September — is no longer listed as the manager of the 49,847-dwt Sea Gloria and 50,000-dwt Gas Orpheus (both built 1993), and the 45,840-dwt CCPC Voyager (built 2004), according to analysis by TradeWinds.
