A livestock carrier suffering a "bent" and cracked hull has been barred from Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (Paris MOU) ports.

The organisation said the 3,100-dwt Uranus II (built 1992) was detained in Midia, Romania, in January, its third detention within the last 36 months.

It was held for three days with 22 deficiencies

Equasis lists the structural fault as hull cracking, with the specific defect given only as "bent."
