Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) and DSME have teamed-up to develop technology harnessing LNG cold energy to reduce the environmental impact of FSRUs.
They have named the new concept ‘Cryo-Powered Regas’ and it will recycle LNG waste cold for power generation using the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC).
