Greek bulker escapes unscathed after Bristol port fire

A Greek-owned panamax bulker has had a narrow escape after being caught up in a major fire at the port of Bristol in the UK.

Photographs provided by the local emergency services would appear to identify the ship as the 83,000-dwt bulker Thalassini (built 2005).

Online valuations platform VesselsValue says the Greek-flagged vessel is controlled by parties linked to Astra Shipmanagement.
