Baltic ferry operator Scandlines reported stable results for 2019, but conceded that coronavirus will make a significant dent in its financial performance this year.

Scandlines said group profitability remained steady as it generated a profit from ordinary activities of €188m ($204m), compared with €191m in 2018. Revenue was largely unchanged at €475m.

The company said business remained “relatively stable” in the first months of 2020, but the outbreak of coronavirus across Europe and subsequent travel restrictions have brought a high degree of uncertainty.
