South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries has promoted Lee Sang-kyun to a new upgraded position of chief executive after a fourth fatal accident at its facilities.
The company said Lee Sang-kyun, who was formerly president of Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, has been appointed to the CEO’s position.
The former HHI head, vice president Ha Soo, has voluntarily resigned.
