Chevron has chartered a modern VLCC for between four and six months at a rate exceeding $30,000 per day, market sources told TradeWinds.
The US oil major has fixed the Enesel-managed, 319,000-dwt Agios Nikolas (built 2019) for a period of 90 to 135 days at $31,000 per day, TradeWinds is told.
The Agios Nikolas will be used for trading and not storage.
