The National Bank of Greece (NBG), one of the country’s biggest lenders, has clinched a deal to sell a portfolio of non-performing shipping loans worth €300m ($332m).
In a conference call last week the bank told analysts it was expecting to sign a sale-and-purchase agreement for the loans over the coming days.
The deal has been apparently now been concluded.
