Owners should aim to “keep all doors open” when considering which type of propulsion system to opt for on their next shipping investments, according to a Fearnleys senior analyst.
The way to do this is to go for a high-pressure diesel cycle engine, which has no methane slip, Sverre Bjorn Svenning told the the Astrup Fearnley Shipping, Energy & Offshore Conference in London on Monday.
