Norway's SolstadFarstad has fixed more offshore ships in Australia.

The company said McDermott International affiliate MAPL has booked the 186-bp anchor-handler (AHTS) Far Stream (built 2006), plus pipe-haul platform supply vessels (PSVs), for work off Western Australia.

The contract is due to start in the first or second quarter of next year, with 200 vessel-days involved.

Meanwhile, Cooper Energy has added a third SolstadFarstad AHTS, the 265-bp Far Statesman (built 2013), for its upcoming Bass Strait drilling campaign.
