Offshore support vessels in the North Sea have just registered the fourth consecutive month of a rise in vessel demand, after continuous and deep declines since 2014.

The first month of an increase in total North Sea vessel demand, including the spot and term markets, was a slight 1.6% and occurred in September 2017, as compared with September 2016, according to offshore analyst Stig Erik Kyrkjeeide at Kepler Cheuvreux, which works in partnership with Swedbank.
