The global roster of offshore rigs inched up by nearly 2% in January, marking the second consecutive month-on-month rise for the key employers of offshore support vessels.
Any increases in the global rig count or even stable numbers are positive signs for OSVs, whose market is often described as a first derivative of drilling rigs.
