Dutch owner Vroon has signed a long-term emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV) deal with UK oil major BP.
Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) in Aberdeen has secured two years of firm work for five ships, with the option to extend the agreement by another three years.
The vessels will work in the North Sea and west of Shetland.
The ships are the 1,200-dwt VOS Vigilant (built 2011), the 1,300-dwt VOS Fabulous and VOS Fairness, and the 1,400-dwt VOS Innovator and VOS Discovery (all built 2014).
