UK owner Sentinel Marine has added a platform supply vessel (PSV) to its fleet for a reported $0.5m.

This is the price quoted by VesselsValue for the 2,700-dwt Scotian Sea (built 2007), which has been offloaded by Kristian Siem's Secunda company in Canada.

Sentinel said the vessel is undergoing a major refit into a multi-role ship.

The Aberdeen company has renamed it Scotian Sentinel and expects it to enter service as a combined PSV and emergency response unit (ERRV).
