Norwegian owner Magseis is teaming up with US giant Schlumberger to offer seismic data.
It has signed an agreement with its new partner's geophysical unit WesternGeco.
Magseis will offer seismic services including ocean-bottom nodes (OBN) acquisition, while WesternGeco will provide data quality control and processing.
"We are delighted to partner with WesternGeco to deliver full system services for OBN surveys with a focus on 3D exploration and 4D reservoir monitoring,” said Magseis CEO Per Christian Grytnes.
