Dutch owner SBM Offshore has signed a deal for two more FPSO hulls in China.
The company said the units at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and China Merchants Industry Holdings will be the fourth and fifth hulls under its purchase programme for Fast4Ward multipurpose newbuildings.
No price has been revealed.
The two yards are also building the first three 300,000-dwt units in the series: a 220,000-barrels-per day (bpd) ship and two of 180,000 bpd.
