It looks like the end of the road for troubled Oslo-listed Polarcus after banks refused to support further trading for its ships.
Six of seven seismic survey vessels taken over by its lenders in January will now be sold and all staff laid off.
But there remains hope that one ship chartered to Russian giant Sovcomflot (SCF Group) will continue trading.
