Greece's Laskaridis Shipping has bought another platform supply vessel (PSV) for work outside the offshore sector.

Norwegian owner Simon Mokster Rederi said it had sold the 3,000-dwt Stril Neptun (built 1999) to Greek interests for non-OSV employment.

Shipping databases show the vessel has been acquired by Laskaridis' Baltmed Reefer Services and renamed Glaros.

Mokster said: "The vessel was delivered back in 1999 and has served long contracts as combined standby and supply on the NCS for Exxon (now Var Energi), Equinor and BP/Aker BP for many years.
