Kazakhstan's Oraziman family is dropping down a drillship to its London-listed oil and gas operation Caspian Sunrise.

The company said it is paying $25m for the 11,000-gt Caspian Explorer (built 2012), which cost a reported $200m to construct and equip at shipyard DSME in South Korea.

It was originally owned by a South Korean consortium.

Caspian Sunrise is led by CEO Kuat Oraziman.
