Norway's Solstad Offshore has offloaded two more unwanted ships as it targets a leaner fleet.

The Oslo-listed offshore vessel owner completed a $2bn restructuring in 2020 and wants to bring the number of vessels it owns down to a core of 90 from 120 now.

The wholly owned subsidiary Partrederiet International Offshore Services handed over the Norwegian-built, 12,240-bhp anchor-handling tug supply ships Lady Astrid and Lady Caroline (both built 2003) on Wednesday to an unnamed buyer.
